Ryan is a Vice President on the SMBC Infrastructure Finance team and focuses on the digital, transport and social infrastructure sectors. Ryan is tasked with originating, structuring, and syndicating infrastructure loans and debt products across a wide spectrum of projects including but not limited to data centers, toll roads, managed lanes, and passenger rail. In addition, Ryan has spearheaded bespoke structuring solutions within the microgrid, transportation, industrial and de-carbonization linked infrastructure spaces. Prior to SMBC Ryan earned a BS in Chemical Engineering and MS in Finance from the University at Buffalo.
From toll roads to TIFIA, issuers across the country are exploring innovative ways of bringing in revenue and understanding road usage to fill funding gaps.
