Michael is a project and public finance attorney who focuses his practice on serving many of the largest cities, counties, airports and airport systems, and public power authorities in the country. In total he has assisted in raising over $85 billion across over a thousand taxable and tax-exempt debt financing transactions for projects in 29 states, Guam, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Washington DC. He has also worked on several large and high profile public private partnership (P3) transactions including, but not limited to, serving as bond counsel in connection with New Terminal One at John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK), the Chicago parking meter privatization and Allenstown water and sewer system privatization, underwriters’ counsel in connection with the Terminal Six Redevelopment at JFK and the I-495 Capital Beltway managed lanes project and, as mentioned, dedicated purchasers counsel for over seven years for the Brightline Trains projects.
